2023 that’s a wrap 😁
What a year ! Finally feeling more settled into the London teaching lifestyle and all that comes with it .
This has been a year of consistent learning and growth, so grateful to have practiced, trained with and learnt from so many amazing teachers!
It’s the year I finally prioritized time for my own personal practice which has helped my teaching and personal practice grow exponentially
Just some things I’m proud to have done 🙂
- Actually attend classes and be a student regularly
- Hosted a day retreat solo
- Co-hosted a Rocket extended practice with my Rocket twin
- Assisted on 100hr Rocket Teacher training
- Did my first muscle up ( with a band)

Special thanks to my teachers in no particular order😂 for continuing to push and inspire me 🧘🏼‍♂️

Thanks to everyone who’s practiced with me throughout the year. You’ve all be superstars and taught me soo much. I can’t wait to continue teaching you in 2024 🙂

4. Increases hip mobility

Why should you incorporate Prasarita Padottasana into your practice? (Wide legged forward fold )

1. Strengthens and stretches the back side of the body; the spine, glutes, hamstrings and calves.
2. Tones the abdominal organs
3. Calms the brain
4. Relieves mild backache
5. It improves hip joint flexibility
6. It strengthens the feet
7. It creates length in the spine
8. It improves posture
9. It’s a good pose for stress, anxiety, and depression
10. Its symmetrical shape keeps your pelvis, sacroiliac joint and spine neutral and quiet, while the active rooting of your feet and legs allows your upper body to be soft and receptive.
11. It activates and balances the three lower body chakras. The muladhara Chakra ( root), the swadisthana chakra (sacral) and the Manipura chakra (solar plexus). These chakras encourage stability, confidence, self control and acceptance.
