Hand To Hand Yoga

Hand To Hand Yoga My Yoga practice is grounding, calm, mature, honest, creative, fluid and fun those will be the ingredients that I will use to spice your practice too.

I grew up surrounded by active and inspiring role models. My father, an architect, practiced Kung Fu and aquatic sports throughout his life. My mother, a ballet dancer, still practices Yoga and Tai Chi. Their dedication to movement and healthy living deeply influenced me. Coming from a family known for its longevity, my goal since turning 50 has been to live a long, healthy life with all my facult

ies intact. I believe the key to this is staying active and making time for exercise and stretching. I practice and teach Yoga, and I also enjoy cycling, walking, swimming, skipping rope, and dancing whenever I can. Yoga has made me more aware of how I feel in my body, given me mental clarity, and strengthened my body. I appreciate all the capabilities I still have and am grateful for the opportunity to share this practice with others. In addition to Yoga, I am a ceramic artist. My time is beautifully balanced between my artwork and Yoga, creating the perfect combination of happiness for me.

When we start meditating we tent to think that the mind gets quite and we should be able to stay put for long time. That is try but quieting the mind takes years or a lifetime to achieve.

When practicing start being aware of your bridging, noticing your body weight on the chair/floor and then be gentil with your thoughts and let them come and go observing them.

I meditate where I am, on the train, in my room, on the bus, and every time that I feel unsettled and stressed, I close my eyes and focus on my breath.

I was in Cadiz in front of the sea at La Caleta with the Sun on my face and feel this is a perfect moment to be connected and I did my meditation then.

Warrior III improves your balance and strengthens your core. On your standing leg, this pose stretches the back of your thigh (hamstring) and buttock (glute) while strengthening the front of your thigh (quadriceps) and ankle.

I like to start with the foot on the floor then, I check in my belly bottom, open the toes on the standing leg and push the floor down to find strength and balance, stretching from the back of the neck and only then you feel lightness on the leg to start lifting it up!

Try it following the steps and without them ;)
