Some of us have been in lock-down for 3 weeks or more!
Here there are some new ideas to cheer you up!
1. Try to keep a routine. Wake up early and if possible, have a shower. It will help you to increase your energy. Wear something comfy. It really makes a difference!
2. Have some breakfast with a good cup of tea/coffee. ☕️
3. Try to move around. Walk, dance, or enjoy some good music!
4. Spring cleaning! Yes! Now is the perfect time! Take some time to make a list of the MUSTS at home and start cleaning! Don´t leave it for tomorrow!
5. Books: If you like to read, choose one of your favourite books to read. Maybe it is a good idea to read before going to bed.
6. If you have to work, think of the fact that you don´t need to commute. It makes such a big difference. In conference calls all day? Try to sit next to a window to enjoy the panorama, just in case you fall asleep during the call. At least you have the clear sky to look at!
7. Have a nice lunch. A glass of wine makes a lot of sense during the lock-down.
8. Try to keep the positive thinking. Go for a walk after lunch if possible.
9. Don´t overthink about the current weird global situation. We are all living it! Remember: this is nothing compared with the situation that our grandparents lived in WW1 and WW2.
10. Do you have kids? Good luck! 🤩 Enjoy the time you spend with them now. They grow up so fast! Kids love to bake, dance and sing songs. There are plenty of things to do with them.
11. Just chill out and watch some TV or read a book before going to bed. At the end stay at home, relax and don´t worry about the things you can´t manage. Worry about the things you CAN actually manage like to be safe and avoid the spread of the Coronavirus.
