Это правило очень просто. Например, ты хочешь шубу.

Ты спрашиваешь себя: почему я хочу шубу? Это первое «почему». Отвечаешь: потому что я хочу всех удивить. Окей, второе «почему»: Почему ты хочешь всех удивить? Ответ: Потому что хочу, чтобы на меня обратили внимание. Третье «почему»: Почему тебе нужно, чтобы на тебя обратили внимание? Ответ: Потому что я чувствую себя неуверенно. Четвертое «почему»: Почему ты чувствуешь себя неуверенно? Ответ: Потому что я никак не могу реализоваться, потому что я сижу на одном месте. Пятое «почему»: Почему ты не можешь реализовать себя? Ответ: Потому что я занимаюсь тем, что мне не нравится. И скажи теперь, при чем тут шуба?

Господин Сакити Тойода научил, что в ответе на пятое «почему» и кроется первопричина, которую на первый взгляд не видать. Пятое «потому что» выводит на свет то, что скрывается внутри. Если хочешь, пятое «потому что» и есть настоящая ты. "The founder of Toyota, Sakichi Toyoda, uses the rule of "five whys" all the time. In all unclear situations, he pulls this method out of his pocket, and it always helps him.

This rule is very simple. For example, you want a fur coat.

You ask yourself: Why do I want a fur coat? That's the first “why”. You answer: because I want to surprise everyone.
Okay, second “why”: Why do you want to surprise everybody? Answer: Because I want to be noticed.
Third “why”: Why do you need to be noticed? Answer: Because I feel insecure.
Fourth “why”: Why do you feel insecure? Answer: Because there is no way I can be realized because I am sitting in one place.
Fifth “why”: Why can't you realize yourself? Answer: Because I'm doing something I don't like.

Mr. Sakichi Toyoda taught me that the answer to the fifth “why” is the root cause, which you can't see at first glance. The fifth “because” brings to light what's hidden inside. If you will, the fifth “because” is the real you. It's a very effective way to check what you're really hiding, what you're afraid to admit even to yourself, what you really want and what's just tinsel.
