“You can’t pour from an empty cup.”
We say this often—but do we actually live it?

I allow myself one nice coffee a day. It’s a small ritual, but it’s mine—a moment that feels like a little gift back to myself. And honestly, it makes a difference.

But filling your cup isn’t always about coffee or candles. It’s about the small habits that help you feel like you, the intentional choices that refill your energy, your joy, your identity—not just your schedule.

☕ In this week’s parental wellbeing workshop, we’ll be creating space to explore what that actually looks like for you.
✨ Because before you can make time for your needs, you have to know what they even are.
✨ And before you can give yourself what you want, you need to let go of the guilt that says you shouldn’t.

We’ll work through:
– What filling your cup means in real, practical terms
– How to identify your actual wants and needs (not just what’s left after everyone else is sorted)
– And how to schedule time for yourself without guilt or apology

🗓 This Wednesday, 11.45am–1.15pm
📍 Good Shepherd Studios, Leytonstone

Come as you are—tired, curious, unsure. You don’t need to have the answers. That’s what we’re doing together.
💛 Just bring yourself, and maybe that nice coffee too.

👉 Parents often give endlessly—but forget to check in with their own needs.
We’re so used to prioritising everyone else that even thinking about what we want can feel… strange. Or selfish. Or just too far down the to-do list.

💬 So tell me—how would you even begin to answer the question:
“What do you need right now?”
No, really. When was the last time someone even asked you that?

This week, we’re making space to ask and explore exactly that in our parental wellbeing workshop 💛
🗓 This Thursday, 11.45am–1.15pm
📍 Good Shepherd Studios, Leytonstone

✨ We’ll be working through:
– What your real wants and needs actually are (beneath the surface)
– Why it feels hard or guilty to even name them
– And how to give yourself permission to want more—for yourself, not just your family.

Come as you are. No prep, no pressure. Just space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

📩 DM to book your space or bring a friend ✨

Sound familiar? 🙋‍♀️
These little phrases might seem harmless, but they often hide a much deeper pattern—putting yourself last.

This Wednesday, we’re unpacking exactly that in our parental wellbeing workshop 💛
We’ll explore:
✨ What your real wants and needs are
✨ Why it feels hard to prioritise yourself
✨ And how to stop waiting until “everything else is done” to give yourself care and space

📍 Good Shepherd Studios, Leytonstone
🗓 11.45am–1.15pm

Come refill your cup—you deserve it, no excuses needed.
📩 DM to join us or tag a parent who needs this!

Hey! Just a reminder – our parental wellbeing session is this Wednesday, 11.45am–1.15pm at Good Shepherd Studios, Leytonstone.

We’ll be talking about how to actually fill your cup (not just patch it), how to work out what you really want or need, and how to make space for it without guilt.

We’ll also be creating a simple self-portrait—looking at how we see ourselves internally and externally. It’s a powerful way to reflect on identity beyond just being “mum” or “dad” and reconnect with who you are.

Come as you are—no art skills needed! Just time for you. Let me know if you’d like to come or bring a friend

That moment when a parent proudly shares their artwork — and it’s so much more than just paint on paper. 💛🎨

This piece represents the deep work we did around what’s really on our parental plate — the visible and invisible loads we carry every day.

We explored:
🍽️ What’s weighing us down
🚫 Where we need to set boundaries
🎨 How our emotions show up — and what colours we connect with them

Through this creative process, we gave ourselves permission to reflect, release, and reset. No pressure to be perfect — just a chance to feel and express.

Sometimes healing starts with a conversation… and sometimes, with colour on a page. 🌈

Ever found yourself thinking:
“Why did I react like that? That’s not the kind of parent I want to be…”

When we parent without knowing our core values, we drift. We react. We snap.

We parent on autopilot—or based on how we were raised, not how we want to raise.

💡 Knowing your core values gives you direction.
It helps you:

Respond instead of react

Stay grounded in tough moments

Make decisions that align with your long-term goals

Model what really matters to your kids

You matter, too.

Not after the laundry, the tantrums, and the to-do list—but right alongside it.

Because when you pause to rest, breathe, eat, cry, or ask for help… you’re not being selfish.
You’re showing your child what self-respect looks like.

You’re building a safer, softer space for both of you.

💛 Your well-being doesn’t take away from theirs—it strengthens it.

Let them grow up seeing what healthy love for self truly looks like.

Ever found yourself thinking:
“Why did I react like that? That’s not the kind of parent I want to be…”

Here’s the truth: when we parent without knowing our core values, we drift.
We react. We snap. We parent on autopilot—or based on how we were raised, not how we want to raise.

💡 Knowing your core values gives you direction.
It helps you:

Respond instead of react

Stay grounded in tough moments

Make decisions that align with your long-term goals

Model what really matters to your kids

Your values might be:
❤️ Respect
🌱 Growth
🤝 Connection
🧘‍♀️ Calm
🎯 Responsibility
(Everyone’s list is different!)

🧭 When you know what matters most, it’s easier to spot when your actions don’t match—and gently course-correct.
