Designers Salomé Bazin and Giulia Tomasello are breaking down taboos with Tides - a sexual wellness brand created especially for women in midlife and above. The Tides massager was designed to empower women to keep exploring their sexuality in midlife, a time when social messaging typically tells them they should no longer be sexual, the designers said.

In order to create the product, the founders collaborated with the organization Noon and surveyed over 300 women about their experiences with menopause. They also conducted workshops and interviews to engage a wider community.

"Tides represents a novel approach to health, taking pleasure as a starting point for longevity and overall health in the second part of life" said Bazin.
