📱 1. I want to have a proper “digital detox” while the kids are home for the summer.

I like marking these days when I am reminded at how far I have come in such a short time.

I am forever amazed at the power of small nutrition and lifestyle changes on my own recovery.

Blessed to be able to support others in their journey to reduce their cancer risk, or bounce back stronger post treatment. Blessed to be around and in full colour for my family and loved ones.

💚DO YOU EAT TO BE FULL OR TO BE FUELED? 💚

My attitude to food has certainly evolved over the years.

Back when I was working a very demanding job and constantly stressed, I used to eat whatever was quickest and would keep me going. I used to grab and go, survive on coffee and croissants, and finish the kids leftovers when I got home.

Now, I think about what foods will nourish me the most. I try to maximize protein, fiber, and micro nutrients. I go for home cooked meals almost 95% of the time (yes, I don’t have a social life 😅). I eat diverse and colourful foods, packed full of veggies and plant proteins.

There are still days when I simply don’t have the time, but I have now figured out a few go-to 5 minute meals that I can prepare and eat even on the busiest of days.
