A day in my life in Ibiza as a gut health dietitian and yoga teacher…morning sea swim, laptop and project work, an after-work hike, and dinner by the ocean. It’s honestly not too different from my usual day-to-day in London... just in a different environment which makes all the difference ✨
Being in a new environment shifts the way we co-regulate. A slower pace, more exposure to nature, sunlight, movement, new foods, and deeper connection with the body all play a role in nervous system regulation, which is essential for gut health. I’m so grateful I can take my work anywhere in the world, but for me it’s not about being on holiday. It’s about intentionally choosing a lifestyle that supports digestion, energy, focus, and my mental health.
Where we are, how we move, and how we live all influence the gut-brain axis. This season of working remotely is reminding me just how powerful those everyday choices can be.
