Unfortunately, we know that fewer than half (47%) of children are meeting the UK’s Chief Medical Officers’ guidelines for being physically active.
A physically active young person typically experiences improved mental health, physical well-being, and social engagement. Currently, a significant number of children lead inactive lifestyles, resulting in a generation that is less happy, less healthy, and more distracted compared to previous ones. This situation is a crisis that requires immediate action.
🤝 We support initiatives such as those set out by the Youth Sport Trust to improve the lives of children and young people through participation in physical activities.
