We are the shelter from the storm in your head, a base camp for you to recuperate, and a compass that can help you plot your journey to higher mindful altitudes. We’ve spent 30 years adventuring around the globe to uncover life-changing experiences in remote and undiscovered locations for our private clients. you through the wild mountain passes of Bhutan. All these incredible moments have taught us one thing: time spent in the outdoors brings unadulterated joy. Asking the questions that no body dares to, is the only way to make change in an ever-evolving world and educate ourselves on how to do better as individuals 🤝💛

Disappointingly, a recent workshop showed that men are still questionably unliked by a generous portion of the female audience. This was a thought-provoking study and leads to the question: Why? And how can we fix this?

Men are undeniably always trying to impress and better themselves, which often leads to the trap of “silent suffering” - but if men were given a fair chance to speak and act accordingly to their own beliefs and values rather than being fixated on showing the world how strong they are, would women have a different perspective and view men as being more warm and approachable? Would they raise more hands for us? 🙌🏼

There could be many reasons why this male stigma still lurks, but if we don’t ask the questions, we will never have the answers to make positive changes!

🌟 Meet James Cooper, aka, , our marathon hero! 🌟

James, a dedicated personal trainer, has committed to running 26.2 miles (42.1 km) EVERY DAY throughout 2024 to support . Running has been James’s anchor through tough times, including his battles with depression in 2014 and 2015. He says, “I’ll do whatever it takes to cross that finish line, smiling every step of the way!” So far, James has raised over £32,000 for 🏃‍♂️💪

This inspiring 20-year-old waiter from Renfrewshire walked all the way from Glasgow, Scotland to Munich, Germany, raising over £51,000 for , a men’s mental health charity. I’ve just read an interesting article from that highlights the effects of keeping your life colourful and varied for positive effects on your mental health.

Did you know that time goes slower when we’re children because we do something different every day? We play different games, we learn new skills, we speak to new friends and we inundate ourselves with fresh knowledge. As we grow older, time begins to fly because routine takes over and life becomes mundane. But we can avoid this by making spontaneity a regular part of our life.

From personal experience, I’ve found when I feel I’m getting stuck in a rut, It’s time to flip it, change things up.

Here are three hacks that work for me…

1. Get out for a walk in the woods, but follow a new nature trail or opt for the deer track rather than the usual path 🦌🍃

2. ⁠Jump on the bike or go for a run/walk in a new area to refresh your sense of adventure and provoke your natural human instinct to explore 🚵‍♂️🏃‍♂️🧭

3. Plan an escape to somewhere you’ve never been. A camping trip, a peaceful lodge, a coastal adventure. Whatever sparks your excitement. There’s a whole world out there, you deserve to experience it! 🌍✈️🏕️

I can guarantee that introducing a sense of variety to your life will change your mindset and bring a new sense of joy… get out there and live!

“This idea of ‘what it is to be a man’ is still hanging around. I think I’ve got a really simple way of fixing many things as far as gender stereotypes are concerned, and it’s just that we don’t apply [certain] behaviours to genders. But it requires unpicking the very fabric of society – so it’s not an easy resolve.
“If we don’t apply behaviours to genders though, then you can send your male mate flowers and it doesn’t have to be seen as feminine. I can take an interest in bouquets and becoming a florist, or being sensitive, open and emotionally intelligent – all of these brilliant things we [often] associate with being a woman.”
