How does the snuggleru™ work?

Post chest surgery users may benefit from using the snuggleru™ cushion to help create a barrier surrounding the chest, to aid positioning when seated, and to assist in maintaining positioning when recommencing laying down on their back to sleep help stop rolling and turning. The snuggleru™ cushion can also be used as support and as a rest for the arms to allow activities such as reading a book or using a mobile phone.
Care home setting users may benefit in the snuggleru™ cushion as a support to maintain posture and position in instances where someone may be prone to falling forward when seated. For example, if the user were to vomit and fall forward the snuggleru™ cushion could assist in maintaining an upright position. The snuggleru™ cushion could also act as support for sleeping positions where the individual needs to maintain the position of laying on their back.
Other users may include compression for the chest area, where the user may require the stimulation of compression. The snuggleru™ cushion can help to replicate a snuggle and cuddle. Instances may include somebody who is autistic and requires pressure therapy.

This is our second grant from Santander and we couldn’t be more grateful! We are so excited to be backed and supported by such prestigious names, and even more excited to make our vision a reality. This growth grant will help us with the last few steps before the product launch date!

Our cushion product is specially tailored to meet the needs of patients undergoing chest surgeries such as:

Not only do we provide this recovery cushion for the user in need, but we also we will be actively working with, supporting and engaging with the surrounding and relevant communities and charities.
