Sexual trauma leaves more than emotional scars; it can reshape how your body responds to touch, intimacy, and even everyday sensations. This is especially true for women who’ve historically faced stigma and silence around their experiences.

💡 Science Insight: Research in neurobiology shows trauma can alter the stress response systems, making the pelvic floor muscles tense or overactive as a protective mechanism. Over time, this can lead to discomfort, pain, or difficulty experiencing pleasure.

What helps?

Trauma-informed pelvic health therapy

Somatic practices like mindful breathing and gentle stretches

Compassionate, shame-free conversations about s*xual well-being

This International Women’s Day, let’s acknowledge survivors’ strength and encourage open dialogue about healing and reclamation. You’re not alone, and your body can learn to feel safe again. 🌸

Hey Pleasure Seekers :)
In March, I’m focusing on a topic close to my heart: healing and recovery for those who’ve experienced trauma affecting their s*xual health. I’ll explore gentle, trauma-informed approaches—like somatic therapy, slow reintroductions to touch, and tuning into body cues—to help you reclaim comfort in intimacy.

I know talking about trauma can feel vulnerable, so I’ll offer resources, success stories, and mindful exercises that honour your pace. If you’re ready to release shame, find support, and discover a more compassionate relationship with your body, stay tuned.

Comment with a 💞 if you believe in the power of gradual, loving healing.

🛑 "Using a condom kills the mood" is one of the biggest complaints I hear—But it doesn't have to be! Let’s debunk it! 🛑

Did you know that the right condom can actually enhance pleasure? Ultra-thin, ribbed, or warming varieties can intensify sensation while keeping s*x safe.

Being confident about protection shows maturity, care, and respect—which is s*xy as hell. Plus studies show that when you are more relaxed, you feel more arousal. No need to be in the throws of intimacy worrying about unplanned pregnancies and STD's

✨ Pro tip: Keep condoms within reach (not tucked away in a drawer), so when the moment comes, it’s smooth and seamless.
✨ Assist the process. Both parties can incorporate this as a form of play with a BJ, hand job or power play process.
✨ Make sure you have the right condom for you and your partner. Makes sure if you choose latex free condoms if latex irritates you. are my favourite for this!
✨ Lubrication: Add more after you apply the condom before any form of pe*******on. Water and Silicon based l***s are fine with condoms. Just avoid any oil based lubrication due to risk of damage to the barrier

February might be famous for romance, but I’m going deeper with s*xual confidence and communication. This month, I’ll show you how expressing your needs—while listening to your partner’s—creates a bedrock of trust and genuine pleasure. I’ll cover how to overcome hesitation in talking about desires, set boundaries that feel good, and discover the magical balance of giving and receiving.

Whether you’re single or partnered, confident communication can transform your intimate experiences—from improving or**sm quality to bridging mismatched libidos. If you’ve ever felt shy about voicing what you want, this is your sign to open up!

Let’s talk about vaginismus—because for too long, **pain during intimacy** has been accepted as “normal.” Spoiler: It’s not.

Vaginismus is a condition where the pelvic floor muscles involuntarily tighten, making pe*******on painful or even impossible. It can stem from fear of pain, anxiety, or lack of understanding about your body. But here’s the key takeaway: **It’s treatable.**

Treatment often includes:
🌸 Pelvic floor physiotherapy to retrain the muscles.
🌸 Somatic and nervous system regulation to reduce fear and tension.
🌸 Education about your body to empower you to reclaim pleasure.

Remember, your experience is valid, and your pain is real—but it’s not your forever story. Let’s normalize seeking help and healing. 🌟

Avoidant behaviours develop from our childhood patternings from where we were subconsciously taught on how to deal with our emotions, fears and vulnerabilities.

Often in intimacy and conflict, our avoidant behaviours are exhibited which creates disconnect from ourself and others.

Its important to note that these avoidant behaviour come up to protect a deeper fear or vulnerability. Often the stronger the avoidant behaviour, the stronger the vulnerability.

I work with my clients to unpack their avoidant behaviours in intimacy so they can have awareness into their deeper needs, which maintains connection to self and others. To act from a place of autonomy and empathy rather than triggers helps heal those deeper fears and allows for richer intimacy.
