CAST is evolving! Originally established within the NHS, we have now stepped into a new era as an independent organisation as of September 2024. While we are no longer affiliated with CNWL, our mission remains unchanged: to provide expert trauma-informed mental health care to individuals and communities affected by crises. 🌿 Sunday Reset: Prioritize Your Mental Health 🌿

With the clocks returning an hour today, we’re gifted with a little extra time to slow down and focus on self-care. Use this extra hour to nurture your mind and body – because your mental health is just as important as your physical health.

🧘‍♀️ Here are 3 simple ways to make the most of this extra time:

1. Practice Mindfulness – Spend a few minutes in quiet reflection or meditation.
2. Connect with Nature – Take advantage of the daylight and go for a peaceful walk.
3. Unplug – Use the extra hour to disconnect from screens and reconnect with yourself.

Remember, self-care isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity. 🌸

The project emphasized empathy, cultural competency, and teamwork while learning from the evacuees' unique needs. Their insights highlight the importance of adapting care to different cultures and personal experiences. Their insights have shaped future refugee services, including for Ukrainian families.
