Procrastination is not a flaw in your discipline or mindset. It is a protective reflex from your nervous system designed to delay perceived threats.
Tasks that trigger fear of failure or judgement activate a subconscious defence. It feels like laziness, but it is actually your brain choosing short term relief over potential pain.

In RTT we do not treat procrastination as a planning issue. We identify the emotional root driving the delay and rewire the trigger.
By recognising the signal and responding with micro-steps the brain learns that the task is safe and achievable.

Affirmations are not just feel-good phrases.

They’re mental cues designed to interrupt old narratives and install new ones.
But here’s what most people get wrong:

If you just say them without emotional connection, your brain won’t register them as true.
The key is repetition with intention.

Why this works:

– Your brain is always forming patterns
– When you repeat a thought, it becomes a belief
– Beliefs drive behaviour, emotion, and identity
If you’ve struggled to believe affirmations, it doesn’t mean they don’t work

it means your subconscious has a different story running in the background.
RTT helps access that story.

And once we change that… affirmations start to land.
