To the left you see me when I was in constant back pain, and unhappy in life.
Let me see the scene. It was 2015, I was working 50/60 hour weeks often as a Historical Costume maker and Tailor in the film industry, feeding a team of makers work.
One day I saw my photos and it dawned on me no matter how much I tried to smile big, it didn't look like much.
The energy had been drained out of me.
Action for my bodies sake, needed to be taken and it needed to be taken now!!
There was a lot of other things they happened to help me come to this conclusion, but this was the first thing, and those stories are for another time.
Anyway, I had always been fit before, so I had a really good basis, but I had never been unfit, so it was completely new territory! So I put my research hat on, and trialed fad diets, and failed, tried 14 days to washboard abs, and failed again. I couldn't even do a sit up at this point, of course I was going to fail!
I came across how the mind can effect the body, and actually if I changed 1% at a time, things would change much quicker then I thought π‘
So, fast forward 9 months, I had lost 6 stone and was well into my fitness journey, it was now a lifestyle that I absolutely loved!! π
On the right, is me this year, shining brighter every year.
