Meditation is one of the most powerful methods of self care we can do. Taking the moment to release negative energies and just living in the moment. Tonight I was lucky enough to meditate under the stars feeling the warm wind of Egypt on my face. Using the wind to imagine a bright yellow and green light surrounding me, filling me with every breath and with every breath out, imaging the negative energies blowing away with the same wind. When I woke from my meditation, a strong sense of gratitude and peace was in the place of stress that I’ve been feeling all day. I’ve not had the best of days but a simple five min meditation has changed my mindset. I love meditation but I have to admit that even for me, my ADHD brain finds it difficult to stop the racing overwhelming thoughts. Meditation takes practise, focus and motivation/ but it is very worth it. For me, the right environment is important. I have my own sacred space at home, but when I’m out in peace in nature, I could literally do it anywhere. I don’t have the option of using my crystals or candles here like at home but as long as I am focused on my intentions, they aren’t needed. Tonight I sent my positive energies to someone I love dearly, using my third eye chakras to send them out.
