Great wee group tonight! For mental health awareness month we have decided to start introducing monthly themes back to group! With the rebrand, moving locations and clueless me taking over we lost a bit of structure but safe to say we are back on our feet! 💪🏼
For the Month of May we are focusing on Self-compassion and our inner critic. If you struggle with that voice in your head telling you that you aren’t good enough or feel like you are unable to show yourself kindness, come down and have an honest chat with some likeminded women. Practice speaking to yourself with the same compassion and understanding you would give to a loved one.
Her Path will still always be a place to get anything you need off your chest. Group will still begin with sharing and listening and we will end with group discussion and an activity/exercise to help us get better in all areas of our mental wellbeing.
And I know I say it all the time but I will try post more. 🙈 it is important to me to engage with everyone who supports us. Whether you come to group, thinking about attending, or just recognise the importance of groups like these. Every like and follow is helping beat the stigma around what we discuss and you might share it to the people who need it most, so Thank you! Group would never have made it this far without my best friend Kelly so huge thanks to her for keeping it afloat when I feel like I can’t. From now on I am going to share more of what we do. I struggle with imposters syndrome and always had the fear posting anything remotely personal on here even if it might make people feel less alone. but how can I expect anyone to confide in me or our group if I’m not willing to be honest myself. I’m no expert, just a girl who struggles too 🩷
