🌍 Happy Earth Day from the Only Planet We’ve Got
Since last Earth Day, you - our brilliantly down-to-earth Bower community - have sorted 50,004,903 packages, to be exact. That’s over 50 million little love letters to the planet. That’s you saying “No thanks, incineration and landfill.” Doing the work. Not just talking the talk. Sorting, and then sorting again, as part of your daily routine.
Meanwhile, over in space tourism land… yes, we saw NS-31 too. Six incredible women, no doubt. But let’s be real: that rocket burned more CO₂ in ten minutes than twenty average individuals emit in an entire year. And here you are, not chasing headlines, not fleeing the atmosphere, just rinsing and sorting like it actually matters. (Because it does.) Every scan is your tiny-but-mighty mic drop. Every bag of sorted waste is a quiet clapback to anyone still pretending we’ve got time to waste.
As many countries speed toward their Earth Overshoot Day (spoiler: it’s getting earlier every year and many have already reached it or will within the next few weeks), the message couldn’t be clearer. We’re consuming more than Earth can regenerate - and it’s only spring.
So this Earth Day, we’re not clapping for space billionaires. We’re cheering for you, the everyday heroes making small choices that add up to a big impact. Because real heroes don’t need a rocket. They just need a recycling bin… and a bit of Bower.
♻️ Sort more. Waste less. Love the Earth you’re standing on.
