Welcome!
Gentle Hatha Yoga Sunday (10 – 11:30)
A slow, beginner-friendly yoga practice that focuses on mindful movements, breath control, and poses that build strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Unlike faster-paced styles, it emphasises a gradual approach, allowing participants to connect with their bodies and release tension safely. This practice is ideal for seniors, those new to yoga (or exercise in general), those seeking to manage stress or pain, improve posture, or recover from injury.
Usually in Swedish, but in English if required.
Yin Yoga Sunday and Monday (18 – 19:30)
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, passive style of yoga where poses are held for extended periods (often 3-5 minutes) to target deep connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, and joints, rather than the muscles. This gentle practice, which uses seated and reclining positions, aims to promote flexibility, joint mobility, and deep relaxation while also cultivating mindfulness, emotional connection, and releases a sense of vitality throughout the body. Anyone can practise and benefit from Yin Yoga.
Usually in Swedish, but in English if required.
Online - Bedtime Yoga with Wendy
A series of quiet classes with a focus on relaxation, stress relief, and mindfulness. Exercises are drawn from yin yoga, restorative yoga, and gentle hatha yoga, styles that focus on slow, controlled movements, deep breathing, and stretches to help you achieve deeper relaxation. Savasana - a period of quiet relaxation at the end of every yoga class - will be short, just 2 to 3 minutes, as the late-ish hour assumes you will be going to bed soon.
