Did you know that the chromosomes of a physically active 45-year old has the same structure as that of a 35-year old inactive person?
How amazing isn’t that?!
Wrinkles and grey hairs aside -just by increasing our heart rate for 20-30 minutes a day, we can actually add years (and more importantly!) quality to our lives!
So, does this mean that you need to join a gym or do a 5k a few times a week? No, the good news are that you don't really have to invest anything but time to do something good for yourself!
Taking a walk with a friend, cleaning your house, gardening, doing other house work, such as climbing up and down a ladder, lifting or carrying, counts
as physical activity.
So lets get moving!!
