Cecilia serves as the Swedish lead in the EU project COLLARIS, a capacity-building initiative developing a sustainable European network around UAS for civil protection and disaster response.
Cecilia will speak about her work on bridging the gap between rapidly evolving technology and the practical needs of emergency response organizations, contributing to long-term innovation and enhanced operational resilience across Europe. Cecilia’s expertise lies in the use of Virtual Reality for command training and multi-agency exercises.

WASP-WARA-PS (WASP Research Arena for Public Safety) is a research arena supported by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
Since 2018, practical research has been carried out in Västervik and in 2025, the collaboration was deepened, among other things, by connecting UAS Forum Sweden and “Data Collection Week”.

Carl-Fredrik Lind, KTH
Carl-Fredrik Lind is a student at KTH, where he is completing his final year of the Master of Science in Aircraft Engineering, with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Carl-Fredrik represents the “KTH Aero Design Team” which is one of the teams at SAES (Student Aeronautical Event Sweden) which will be held on June 12th in Västervik and is supported by SARC, Västervik Drone Science Park and others, the other teams are “Chalmers Aero Team” (CAT) and “Team FINDUS” from Linköping University.

Ronny Harpe, MSB
Ronny is Deputy Head of Department for Cybersecurity and Critical Communications Services at MSB.
Ronny is responsible for delivering the national services Rakel, SGSI and WIS as support for management and collaboration to actors within the total defense.
He will provide a picture of what we can do today and tomorrow, linked primarily to communication and drones. Ronny has worked in the area of critical communication services for 20 years and has a technical background in cybersecurity, IT security and security protection.

Sascha Hardegger,
CEO of Dufour Aerospace
Sascha has extensive experience in helicopter emergency medical services and search and rescue operations at Swiss Air-Rescue Rega. At Rega, he was responsible for communications and helicopter operations and led the innovation cell and drone program. He joined Dufour Aerospace in 2021 and became CEO in 2024. Sascha is an aviation enthusiast with experience flying various types of aircraft.
Dufour Aerospace AG has established testing operations in the Västervik Drone Science Park drone testbed during the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025.
Dufour Aerospace will also participate in our demo at Västervik Airport on the
afternoon of May 21.
