"I am a certified yoga teacher with a background in movement, including experience in classical ballet and aerial arts. I began practicing yoga in 2015, starting with Hatha and Vinyasa before developing a deep connection with the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa method, which is now at the heart of my practice.
While I have completed a 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training in Italy and a 300-hour Ashtanga Teacher Training in India, what has truly deepened my understanding of the practice is my daily commitment to it. Beyond certifications and courses, it is the consistency of showing up on the mat each day that continues to shape me, both as a practitioner and as a teacher.
For me, Ashtanga Yoga has been a deeply transformative and introspective practice. It has taught me to recognize my limits, and to understand which ones can be gently explored and which ones should be respected and approached with patience and care. I see it as a method that guides each practitioner to become their own teacher, through a deep connection between breath and body.
At the same time, I experience it as a dynamic, challenging, and also joyful practice. In the Mysore style, the repetition of the sequence creates a space to listen inward, allowing for a kind of moving meditation where more subtle aspects of the self can emerge and be explored, while still leaving room for lightness, curiosity, and even a sense of play."
