WCET - The World Council of Enterostomal Therapists - is co-organising this
internationel conference together with SSKR, a non profit organisation for
Swedish enterostomal therapisth and colorectal nurses. WCET organises international
biennial conferences in order to share experiences and present new research findings.

Allmän information

In Sweden today, there are around 30 000 enterostomal surgery patients receiving specialist care from Enterostomal Therapists. Enterostomal therapy is one of Sweden´s oldest specialist fields for nurses, dating back to the 1970s. The profession includes treatment and rehabilitation for people with an ostomy, wounds or a continence problem.
