James & Thedin AB James & Thedin is a Swedish design company with focus on design as a method to develop suicide resistant products, where ever they are needed.

HealSafe Interiör (former James & Thedin) is a Swedish design company with focus on design as a method to develop suicide resistant products, where ever they are needed. We apply a user centered design method with the aim to contribute to a normalized physical environment. It all started in 2010 when we were asked to design a suicid resistant hook for clothes and towels to the new forensic psychiatric hospital Helix in Stockholm. This brought us to dedicate our knowledge and efforts to this field. Franz James and Joakim Thedin have many years of experience of production and product development, as well as designing for companies like IKEA, Markslöjd, Designtorget among others. Wall art, as seen on photos, are developed for environments in psychiatric hospitals, jails and prisons, are designed by Sara Gullman. James & Thedin´s suicide resistant products are now used at several psychiatric hospitals and correctional units in Scandinavia and UK.
