This incredible team set out to solve a fascinating challenge — understanding how kestrels manage to hover in place, even in turbulent wind conditions.

By implementing Qualisys’ motion capture system, they achieved outstanding precision: tracking kestrels with a head deviation of just 1.2 mm, even in high turbulence.
