🍃Today, on the International Day of Non-Violence and the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, we reflect on the timeless principles of ahimsa (non-violence) and the values that Gandhiji embodied.
✨Vedanta philosophy teaches that Realisation of the Truth is not at all possible without Ahimsa (Non-violence), and therefore, Ahimsa is the supreme Dharma (Duty). Mahatma Gandhi Ji lived this principle by practising non-violence towards all living beings, being a strict vegetarian, and showing respect for all humans, regardless of gender, caste, nationality, race, or religion. His commitment to non-violence extended even to those who oppressed him, treating them with kindness and respect.
❤️Vishwaguruji emphasised the importance of teaching ethical and social values to our children to foster spirituality, sustainability, and world peace. Through these teachings, we can cultivate a sense of responsibility for each other and our planet, raising a new generation that values peace above all else. In this regard, the role of the mother as the first guru is increasingly vital. Mothers have the unique opportunity to impart moral and spiritual principles to their children, helping them develop a profound understanding of humanity.
🌏Let us all commit to becoming more compassionate individuals, showing love and respect for all living beings and the environment, united in our dedication to creating a harmonious world.
