Coming home to choice (and I’ve got your back).
When your system is in survival mode, it can feel like you’re stuck. Like there is no choice, no way out.
”I can’t leave”
”I have no option”
”This is just how it is”
The brain is stuck in a rut and you’re most likely out of the present moment. It’s how it tends to feel when your nervous system is overwhelmed.
The good news is, that as your system begins to settle, something tends to shift. It might be small, but if you’re paying attention you’ll notice it (and that will make all the difference). More nuance (bye bye black-and-white-perspective), more space, more possibility.
Not longer either-or.
Bam 💥
Now you’re choosing (not just reacting). That’s a powerful shift.
When you feel more at home in yourself - deeply connected inside - your clarity, creativity and discernment naturally deepen. Which empowers you to move forward.
That’s my experience both for myself and in my practice.
And that’s what i want for you.
What’s your experience? Can you relate?
❤️
Note: this isn’t about pretending you always have full freedom. Sometimes options really are limited. That’s another (much bigger) story and not what this post is about.
