The last week of January every year host the second largest conference in the world but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event like many had to sadly be postponed as the world is still suffering from this disease 🦠. It’s usually a very busy week for us at Global Pharma Consulting. Spending a week with our loyal clients and new ones.
I’m usually running around with not even time to have lunch as I usually forget to take a break & before I know it it’s 6pm and the conference shuts its doors for another busy day. Four busy days in Dubai that takes months of hard work and preparation.
I am now sitting on my sofa at home in London and it’s lockdown 3 for the UK. We are not allowed to leave our home except for emergency & food shopping & we are allowed to go out for exercise once locally. From my London home I’m longing to go back to work, I can hear the noise of people in the conference, the noise of coffee machine but my eyes are on the floor on our clients making sure everything is running smoothly. My mind is occupied with the schedule, who is hosting next meeting I need the microphone🎤 & I need to pronounce the names properly & not get .jacobson.9’s work title wrong. I wake up at 6am every day & happily stand on my feet all day taking to staff, clients, Business partners & conference visitors. Non stop from 6am when I wake up in my hotel room I share with my colleague, Claire Adlam, till late evening. I see their faces, their smiles & their stress running around. From & I’m longing to go back to my enjoyable hard work. From London to Sweden and Dubai with love,
