We are delighted to present Marie-Louise who will take us on a journey to experience sacred circle dance during the festival.💃🎉
Circle dance have ancient roots. In most cultures people are dancing in circles or have done so to strengthen the togetherness, to celebrate life under different circumstances and the turning of the seasons. During the 70’s an international dance movement was created and spread throughout many countries that got the name Sacred Circle Dance, it touched those ancient roots and intentions. The focus for the Circle Dance is dance as meditation, prayer, ritual, healing and togetherness. 🔥💞
Marie-Louise got in touch with sacred Circle dance when she was very young and visited the spiritual community Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. She had a very strong experience of the dance and after that, her interest for it grew and in a couple of years she started to lead the dance with groups. Since then she have led regular groups and workshops/courses in Sacred Circle Dance for 34 years. Marie-Louise has also led dance leader trainings for many years.
When she dance in a circle she feels deeply connected to the earth, the sky, the others in the circle and the heart center and she gets reminded that all life is connected in the big circle of life. 🌱💚
