The aim of World Diabetes Day is to raise awareness about the disease prevention, detection, and effective management of the world's fastest growing chronic disease. It is important to work together to fight the diabetes epidemic.This day addresses inequalities in access to diabetes care and treatment worldwide, advocating for affordable and equitable healthcare for all.

At Beep, we have during 2024 discovered and introduced lactate as a new correction factor in diabetes treatment, which can greatly relieve cognitive burden and increase the sense of freedom and safety regarding active lifestyles and physical activity for people with diabetes. When presenting our solution, we have encountered world leading and groundbreaking diabetes research, innovations and corporations who all aim to improve diabetes care.

Public Choice Award 2024

Beep won the Public Choice Award 2024 at the DCB Innovation Challenge in Switzerland! After the six final pitches were presented on stage at Start-Up Night last week, the audience was allowed to vote - and they chose us!

Such an honor to receive that confirmation after all the hard work we put into making our presentation informative, simple, cool, inspiring and fun! And it worked.

Countdown to in Madrid next week. The European Association for the Study of Diabetes e.V. (EASD) is hosting the Annual Meeting and we will be attending the event and speaking (Thursday) in the Diabetes Center Berne Innovation zone.

The Beep app is one of six entries remaining in a major competition for diabetes innovations, which initially had one hundred entries from around the world.

“This is a recognition of what we’ve seen in our data—that it could become a medical device that helps everyone with diabetes. It’s a stamp of quality,” says Robert Berling, co-founder and medical director of Beep.

The center in Switzerland, which is hosting the DCB Innovation Challenge, is an international reference center for diabetes research. The final will be held in October.
