25 years ago today, Wisby Tankers AB set sail on its maiden voyage, taking over our very first vessel "Stena Barbados" from Concordia .
That moment marked the beginning of an incredible journey—one framed by hard work, dedication, and countless stories at sea.

To all the colleagues, partners, and crew members who have been part of this voyage: thank you. Your commitment has powered us forward every step of the way. Without you - who knows..

Here’s to the past 25 years—and the many more ahead.

Wisby Verity, built 2004 at Ferus Smit started her service with a five year charter to Preem and spent the rest 16 years superbly handled by the Thuntankers team that made Ferus the top performers among coastal tankers.
After 21 years she will still many years of good service with her new owners.

Last week we visited NET Ship Management Inc. Here the new management was in full swing with new business ideas and visions for the future. Transitions can be difficult but this was reassuring and pleasant reunion.
