Yoga Shastra started with the wish to pass on the teachings of our Guru's Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda. We believe that Yoga is a complete science of self-discipline which balances, harmonizes, purifies, and strengthens the Body, Mind, and Soul of the practitioner. Yoga shows the way to perfect health, mind control and peace with one's Self, the world, the nature and the Divine energy. Yoga gives you the tools to find your way back to your true Self, which is your true nature of peace, happiness and bliss. We are happy to have classes, workshops, courses and special events according to your needs no matter if you are an indivudal person, a small group, an organisation, a company, a school, a hotel or any other constellation! The Inner Journey through Meditation and Yogic Breathing Techniques

For anyone seeking inner calm, mental clarity, and relief from anxiety through traditional yogic practices.

This course offers a focused introduction to meditation and yogic breathing techniques (pranayama), rooted in the classical teachings of yoga. It is especially supportive for those dealing with stress, anxiety, and mental restlessness, and is open to all levels—from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.

We will have a special focus on calming the nervous system, balancing energy, and cultivating present-moment awareness.

During the course, you will be gently guided through:

A variety of yogic breathing techniques, from basic to more advanced pranayama and cleansing exercises

Meditation techniques, including breath awareness, guided concentration, and mantra meditation

The benefits, contraindications, and proper technique for each practice

Deep relaxation and reflection to integrate the experience

By the end of the course, you will have the tools to begin or deepen your own personal breathing and meditation practice, helping you manage anxiety, improve focus, and experience a greater sense of calm, balance, and well-being.

☘️☘️🧘‍♀️ Yoga nidra means sleep with a trace of awareness. It is a state of mind in between wakefulness and dream. When you practise yoga nidra you are opening the deeper phases of your mind. At this moment, your intellectual mind is operating, but when you are able to relax, the subconscious and unconscious levels of the mind open.

If you practise yoga nidra, then the nature of your mind can be changed, diseases can be cured, and your creative genius can be restored. The subconscious and the unconscious mind are the most powerful forces in the human being. This simple practice of yoga nidra has the capacity of penetrating into the depths of the human mind.

The subconscious mind is a very obedient disciple, and immediately carries out the orders that you put to it. If you know how to practise yoga nidra, you can train your subconscious mind completely. Then the ordinary mind and intellect will follow suit.☘️🧘‍♀️☘️

In the standing position, you are sending messages to the different muscles to keep you from falling to the ground. It means fighting against gravity. Lying on the floor is the only time you are not fighting against gravity. You can become completely loose. The very gravity you are fighting can be used for the body to relax now. Check now to see where the tension is. First watch your feet to understand better if you're relaxing them or not, that's the test. Now lift your right foot three inches above the ground. Now hold it there. When you're holding it there, what do you feel now? You feel tension, is it not? You are aware of the tension. You experience the same awareness when you relax. You must be aware of your relaxation. Not just lying down. Okay, now drop the leg like a stone. When you drop it, gravity brings the leg down. Now lift your left foot up three inches above the ground, hold it. Be aware of the tension. Naturally the tension is building up, like water behind the dam, and as the tension builds up you want to relieve the tension. So with gravity, you drop it. Don't use the muscles to drop it. This is how your system knows that you can use gravity to relax and you are aware of relaxation. - From the book Swamiji Said

This practice harmonizes the nervous system and balances brain hemispheres. The brain naturally alternates activity between hemispheres every two hours, reflected in the dominant nostril’s airflow.
