We’re very excited to announce the launch of Dragon Academy, a unique new training program where international venture capital experts will prepare Swedish innovation advisors to attract international venture capital to early-stage life science companies. The program will be led by Luca Venza, co-founder of Lotus Partners and former Director of Tech Transfer and Acceleration at IESE Business School, along with Julie Rachline and Emmanuelle Deponge from LallianSe - Life Sciences Integrator in Paris.

Health data is a hot but complex topic. The use of health data is central to developing and implementing new treatment methods but to secure correct handling of this data with regards to patient integrity a number of issues still have to be discussed and resolved.

Yesterday our COO Lina Boreson participated in a roundtable discussion on health data and how to join forces in finding solutions and prioritising this issue in Region Skåne. The roundtable, organized by Novartis, is part of Region Skånes Innovation Week and the participants consisted of representatives from the Swedish Life Science office, academia and regional politics as well as the healthcare system and life science industry.
