What does Galilean optics mean? 🔍
You’ve probably seen the term before. But what does it actually refer to?
Galilean optics is one of the two main optical systems used in magnification loupes (the other is Keplerian). It’s based on a combination of a convex lens and a concave lens, resulting in a compact, lightweight design with lower magnification.
It’s ideal if you’re looking for a pair of loupes that supports better posture and visual clarity - without adding unnecessary weight to your workday.
