🎙️”The royal road to a person’s heart is to talk about the things he or she treasures most.”

As a speaker, one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned from presenting in diverse cultures—from Brazil to Europe—is the importance of connecting with your audience. To truly win hearts and minds, you have to speak to what matters most to them.

In every culture, people respond differently. While presenting in Brazil, I’ve had to tap into the warmth and openness that resonates with the audience, while in Europe, understanding nuances of formality and precision was key. The ability to adapt and talk about what your audience values is the bridge to creating genuine connections.

Let’s remember that communication isn’t just about the message you give—it’s about making it relevant to the people listening.

🎙️In a society that often discourages us from expressing our unique perspectives, we question, “Who am I to have something to say? Who am I to think my story has value?” Low self-esteem may lead us to believe that our voices hold no worth. However, staying silent is a disservice to humanity by depriving the world of our unique contributions. Those who dare to express themselves face the risk of rejection, public humiliation, and the fear of others’ judgment. Yet, it is more egoistic not to share, as silence maintains cowardice. hashtag
