WHEN FOLLOWING THE FLOW OF THE HEART
I was in the final months of completing my bachelor in my Media & Communication studies, when an entirely new world banged open to me.
Back in Italy I was, writing my thesis, and a friend brought scheptical me to an Osho centre. And immediately I was totally - WOW! Can you really feel like this? Could human connection, breath, body and presence be this alive, this real? I was completely mind-blown. It was like nothing else I'd experienced.
That single encounter set me on fire. Soon after, I enrolled in a Dutch four-year body psychotherapy training - deep emotional work, expression and relational exploration.
Everything started shifting in the most profound ways. I couldn’t get enough. I wanted more depth, more truth, more life.
The path then led me to Brazil through an extraordinary therapist and teacher who invited me into an intensive personal training in bioenergetics. Brazil had always been a dream of mine and when this opportunity came this way, I knew I had to follow it. So I left everything and moved there.
I never planned to become a therapist. I was simply chasing my own healing, exploration and growth. But life had other plans. This work chose me.
One of the most important things my teacher said to me, when he threw me in as a rookie to assist workshops:
“You have a heart. Listen to it. Trust it. It will guide you all the way.”
Those words became my compass. They taught me to trust my inner knowing, to stand firmly in myself, and to hold space for others with authenticity and courage.
What I love most about this path is that it never stops opening new doorways - into the body, into the heart, into layers of life and possibilities we didn't even know where there.
And now, after more than 20 years of working as a body oriented therapist, and after various requests, I'm opening my Breathwork & Embodiment Training (https://fb.me/e/4lZj3t2xc). I will share what I am most passionate about in this deep work and what continues to shape how I live and practice.
You're warmly welcome to reach out if this calls something in you.
