Is your breathing making your runs harder?

More than 40% of runners experience breathlessness–even at low effort.

Not because they’re out of shape.
Because they never learned to breathe efficiently while running.

Here’s what most runners get wrong:
- Breathe to much to early
- They breathe fast and shallow.
- They switch to mouth breathing too early.
- They let their breath fall out of sync with their steps.

This leads to fatigue, shortness of breath, and sometimes even quitting the run early.

You fix it by training your breath

Try this:
- Breathe in for 3 steps, out for 3 steps. (Adjust the ratio at higher speeds.)
- Use your nose as long as possible and see when it want to switch to the mouth
- Slow your breathing rate. This forces your lungs to go deeper.

Do it for 10 minutes during your next run and see what happens. Running doesn’t just challenge your body. It trains your nervous system. Your mindset. Your discipline. Breathing will do the same!
