On Saturday night, we set our clocks ahead by an hour... and lose 60 precious minutes of sleep. 💤
To avoid fatigue and adapt smoothly, here are a few practical tips ⬇️

1⃣ Reduce light exposure by 50% and decrease noise level two hours before bedtime.
2⃣ Turn off screens about an hour before bedtime.
3⃣ Exposure to natural light in the morning to help you wake up more easily.
4⃣ After dinner, reduce alcohol and coffee intake.
5⃣ Take a nap in the early afternoon.
6⃣ Do regular physical exercise.

The theme for 2025 is 'Accelerate Action'. Today we celebrate the remarkable achievements, courage and contributions of women around the world.

Women are often underdiagnosed and undertreated for a wide range of health problems. In addition, conditions specific to women, such as menstrual disorders, have historically received less attention in medical research than other health concerns, and training for health professionals can vary.

The premenstrual phase is associated with poorer sleep in women, and sleep disturbance is a common symptom of perimenopause and menopause. Sleep tracking technologies and apps can help women improve their sleep by simultaneously tracking their menstrual cycles. This allows women to better understand how hormonal fluctuations affect their sleep and receive tailored advice on how to adjust their sleep habits to improve quality.

Accelerating action means advocating for more inclusive research, addressing gaps in women's health and ensuring better access to information and treatment.
