What an incredible visit to the Riga Syriac Aramaic Student Association (SAA)!
We had the honor of lecturing for the dental and medical students of SAA. Meeting so many driven, talented, and ambitious Syriac Aramean students who’ve moved abroad to pursue their dreams made us genuinely proud for the future generation.
Thank you SAA for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!

Arameans in Medicine, bjuder in till en ny och viktig digital föreläsning.

Denna gång har vi äran att presentera Miranda Melki, legitimerad sjuksköterska, som kommer att tala om anhörigas upplevelser och utmaningar i livets slutskede.

Föreläsningen tar upp hur det är att stå bredvid en närstående när livet närmar sig sitt slut, med fokus på närvaro, kommunikation, sorg och hur man kan stötta på ett värdigt och medmänskligt sätt.

Den 7 februari åker vi till Romme Alpin för en magisk vinterdag fylld med gemenskap, skratt och fart i backen!

Resan är tur och retur samma dag – perfekt för studenter och arbetande som pluggar eller jobbar och inte kan vara borta över natten. I anmälningsformuläret kan du välja den avreseplats som passar dig bäst.

Our board member, Dr. Antoine, has been training other dentists in sleep apnea since 2007. In these pictures, he led the course in Gothenburg for the Swedish Dental Association.
The coruse is held 1-2 times a year.

🦷 SLEEP APNEA
Do you struggle with constant daytime fatigue, loud snoring, pauses in breathing at night, or frequent nightly bathroom visits?
These could all be signs of sleep apnea.

Sleep apnea is far more common than most people think — and many live with it without even knowing. It causes repeated breathing interruptions during sleep, leading to drops in oxygen levels. Left untreated, sleep apnea doesn’t just cause exhaustion — it significantly increases the risk of heart disease, weight gain and diabetes.

🇸🇪 For those of you who live in Sweden and are interested in participaging in his education about sleep apnea, keep an eye for more information about upcoming courses!
