The first 30 minutes will be guided, and from 19:30 to 20:30 there will be a longer period of silence
which ends with the World Wide Prayer Service.
If you are new to meditation and 1,5 h feels long - you can leave after the guided part
or stay as long as you like - as it will not be disturbing to others if anyone wants to leave earlier.

Go on doing good no matter how much you get slapped by others. There are thousands who will appreciate your efforts, and a few who won’t. When they crucify you with unkindness, that is the time to say, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Continue to do good to please God, including efforts at resolving the misunderstanding. Don’t be a doormat or cooperate with evil, but in your heart separate them—their souls—from their misguided actions, and give them love sincerely. Thereby you will attain self-mastery—a peace within yourself that cannot be destroyed by the actions of others.

The 2025 SRF World Convocation is rapidly approaching. It will be held from June 22-28, 2025. SRF is looking for a large number of volunteers to support the three online fellowship gatherings which will be held on the following days/times:

Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 4-7 pm PT
Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 2-5 pm PT
Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9 am-12 pm PT

We would appreciate it if you could share this information with your local members who are not attending Convocation in person and would like to experience the joy of serving our worldwide SRF/YSS family during these online events. Full training will be provided.

On March 7, 1952, the great guru entered mahasamadhi, a God‑illumined master’s conscious exit from the body at the time of physical death. He had just finished giving a short speech at a banquet honoring India’s ambassador to the United States, Dr. Binay R. Sen, at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

His passing was marked by an extraordinary phenomenon. A notarized statement signed by the Director of Forest Lawn Memorial‑Park testified: “No physical disintegration was visible in his body even twenty days after death....This state of perfect preservation of a body is, so far as we know from mortuary annals, an unparalleled one....Yogananda's body was apparently in a phenomenal state of immutability.”
