Jag vill göra lite reklam för den klassiska ayurvediska helkroppsmassagen:

ABHYANGA OLJEMASSAGE ✨
En helkroppsmassage med varm olja som ges med relativt lätt tryck och svepande rörelser i närvarande beröring. Behandlingen är djupt avslappnande för kropp och sinne och stärker nervsystemet. Den ger ökad vitalitet och cirkulation genom att smörja och mjuka upp vävnader, muskler, leder och nervsystemet.
Kombinationen av olja, värme och specifika rörelser hjälper också till att lösa upp och rena kroppen från slaggprodukter.

Dricka varmt kan förbättra ditt välmående och din matsmältning.

When it comes to hydration, the temperature of the water you drink plays an important role in your digestion. Drinking cold water may feel refreshing, but it can actually slow down your digestion, causing congestion and making it harder for your body to absorb nutrients. Cold water solidifies fats, which makes it more difficult for the body to process them effectively.

On the other hand, warm water has several health benefits, especially for digestion. It stimulates the digestive system, helping your body to process food more efficiently. Warm water also hydrates deeper tissues, promotes better blood circulation, and supports the lymphatic system by flushing out toxins.

For optimal digestion, it’s better to opt for warm water, especially in the morning to kickstart your day. It’s a simple change that can make a big difference to your overall health, helping you feel more energized and improving your digestive system. 🌡️💧

WINTER ❄️
We have had a long winter now and our body and mind easily gets affected by the qualites of Vata (the wind and ether element) during the winter. Qualities like coldness, dryness, irregularity, movement and lightness can affect us with poor sleep, poor digestion, worries, stress, pain, stiffness, dry skin and hair e.g.

Enjoy the last weeks of the winter by indulging in wintersports or walks in the beautiful snowy landscape. Comfort your body and mind with warm nourishing saucy food that is easy to digest, hot drinks, warm spices, warm clothes, sauna, warm showers, warm oil massage, yoga, meditation and stillness.

The spring will soon arrive and our bodies are extra vulnerable during transition periods to another season. So take good care of you now and enjoy life 💕⛷️

WORLD MEDITATION DAY :::
Today is a day of bringing awareness to the benefits of meditation, so I will promote some benefits here:
⭐️ Inner peace
⭐️ Calmes the nervous system leading to reduced stress and anxiety
⭐️ Improved ability to focus
⭐️ Lower blood pressure
⭐️Boost immunity and can help to reduce pain and inflammation
⭐️Improved sleep quality
⭐️ Enhances self awareness by developing an understanding of yourself and how to relate to yourself and to the surrounding world.
⭐️ Supports emotional management and can enhance positive thinking.
⭐️Improved mastering of thoughts. Increased gap between thoughts, helping you to observe your thoughts without being drawn into them.

That’s some of the benefits, but my favorite is that by regular meditation you can come in contact with your core essence and aware of a profound stable consciousness that is seated deep in you. When you become aware that this consciousness is to be found in everything, humility, love and compassion starts to rise in you and flow through you. You become aware of the essence of life 💕

Nu är det säsong för Papaya!

Papaya är värmande och hjälper bl a till att öka Agni; matsmältningselden.
Frukten dämpar Kapha (jord/vatten) ökar pitta (eld) och är neutral för vata (luft/rymd).

Papaya är en näringsrik och kalorisnål frukt, full av vitaminer och antioxidanter. Frukten har också massor av matsmältningsenzymer vilket är mycket hjälpsamt om du har matsmältningsproblem. Den hjälper mot uppblåsthet och förstoppning och används också för att öka leverns och bukspottkörtelns funktion.

För mycket papaya kan vara laxerande och ge diarréer och kramp i magen, eftersom den har uppvärmande egenskaper. Så ät den i måttliga mängder, speciellt om du redan har mycket pitta (eld) i dig.

Om du äter kött kan papaya användas i marinader för att göra köttet mörare och på så vis underlätta för matsmältningen. Den innehåller nämligen ett enzym som bryter ner proteiner. Men var ändå försiktig med att äta Papaya tillsammans med stora mängder kött, fisk och tofu, eftersom frukten då kan störa matsmältningen. Det bästa är att äta papaya och kött vid separata tillfällen.

Frukten är mycket hjälpsam om du har problem med:
Förstoppning, IBS, halsbränna, högt blodsocker, enzymbrist, låg energi, hudproblem, inflammationer, nedsatt leverfunktion, parasiter, astma och andra kaphaproblem.

When you come into stillness, you can start to feel your core essence. What you truly are. You can find a place in you that is not touched by your patterns, judgements and conditioning.

Your inspiration and creativity can start to flow if you give yourself the gift of stillness and presence. Pure joy can start rising from inside. A joy that is not conditioned by the outside. Just pure from deep within.

The love in our heart is the only thing we carry with us during our whole life. Our steady companion. Seek ways to find it. Often we unconsciously seek it outside of us, where everything is perishable. Sometimes it can be hidden behind fears and different patterns, but it can reveal itself when we come into stillness. If you can feel the expansion when alligned with your heart, it will spill over to all areas of your life.

Just a little reminder that you have all the love that you are seeking, inside of you. Make it a priority to find it and let it expand in your consciousness and your very being. Let it comfort you in challenging times and nurture you with strength, softness, compassion, vitality, creativity and passion 💕
