Today we celebrate Mammuts for another victory in European Championship 2016!
Congrats! Its time for celebration and Joy. For a yet another successful tournament with 12 teams participating in the Segway Polo Community. In a New country : Spain!

In the Segway Polo Community we have a high profile feeling the Segway Family Spirit.
We should be proud of this spirit.

The support for Nizar Zakka case has been zero from the Community so far during 13 Months. In this sense: We as Segway Polo Community need to improve. In Spain during the Championship we could have manifested an action of unity and solidarity with our common friend Nizar unjust in prison since Sept 18,2015. ISPA was against an action based on political issue. Its a sad day for Segway Polo in that sense. Common Sense say Nizar needs our support. As individuals and as a Group. And Nizar have given so much to Segway Polo. He deserve our jointly support.

A missed opportunity today is a setback. Lets look forward to stand up as a Community to support Nizar Zakka.

So much Joy In this pic and so much Joy awaits in the many upcoming events in Segway Polo this year!
4 years ago the Segway Polo community celebrated WOZ Cup in Stockholm. This year a lot of events takes place and nearest upcoming event is in Solingen, Germany. 4 years ago Spain and England was not represented in the Community but now they host major events. Focus on the Joy!

Opera was a part of the inauguration in WOZ Cup 2012 and was as powerful in Östermalms IP and Kaknästornet as when Leicester celebrated the astonishing victory in Premiere League four years later.

Teheran from the sky. Somewhere here is Nizar Zakka, the player in Lebanon Team 2012 and the host of Woz Cup 2013 in Washington held in prison without a trace since September 18, 2015 when he was captured on the way to AirPort after an event where he was invited to speak on a conference hosted by the wife of the President in Iran, Mrs Sahebeh Arabi Rouhani.
We in the Segway Polo Community at large wish for Nizar soon release or any trial accordingly to International laws.

2015 is a truly great year for Segway Polo indeed.
Barbados became new World Champions in Cologne in Woz Cup where 19+1 team played, beating the record from Stockholm 2012, where 16 teams participated. Read the article to summarize the spirit and start to plan to join the growing community ahead of Woz Cup 2017.

Last weekend, 17-20 April 2015 was yet a landmark for the Segway Polo Sport. The first ever UK Segway Polo Tournament was held in Rugby, England. Just as in Stockholm in 2012: 16 (!) teams showed up and joined the tournament and the sport now added teams from England, Holland and Spain to the lovely sport.

The organizer and drive force for this event was Mark Weller. The team around him managed to achieve not only a successful event for the first time with all the preparation effort counted for, but also had a great media coverage.

From all Segway Polo fans and players joining in Rugby and for those not able to participate at this event: We all send our thanks and regards to Mark and to UK Segway Polo for hosting this event and a warm welcome to his team and all new teams in the sport beeing there for the first time. We also congratulate Balver Mammuts to yet another victory.

Next Major event we all look forward to is Woz Cup in Cologne July 16-19. The spirit of the SWP community is rising to the occasion! This upcoming World Cup will most likely be the biggest event ever in the Segway Polo History. See you all there!

Today June 6 is two years since Woz Cup 2012 was in Stockholm! Last year Woz Cup was held in Washington DC with Stockholm Saints as current World Champions! This year will be no Woz Cup, but next year WOZ Cup 2015 will most likely be held in Germany. During 2014, Barbados Cup has been played in May (pic). Zürich Cup is the next big event for the SWP community to look forward to on Oct 2-Oct 5 2014. Be ready and play the most fun sport!
