Call for submissions! 📢

Big tech platforms systematically discriminate against women’s health companies by removing their ads and suspending their ad accounts due to gender bias practices.

This is unacceptable as it:

💻 Limits revenue generation
💻 Impacts consumer access to critical health information
💻 Perpetuates the funding gap. (when companies can’t advertise or reach consumers, they can’t reach sales targets, hindering investor interest)

The recent EU policy “Digital Services Act” is designed to create fair spaces where women’s health companies can effectively advertise their critical services. But it needs to be exercised.

You can help by providing the evidence needed!

Are you eager and interested in communications and have some experience under your belt? Are you passionate about gender equality and eager to make an impact? You could be our next team member!

The Case for Her is a philanthropic investment portfolio and non-profit organization addressing the key women’s health issues of menstruation, s*xual health & pleasure and safe abortion through advocacy and convenings. We believe in an equal world where women and girls thrive and that by investing in key women's health issues that have been underfunded and overlooked, there is an unprecedented opportunity to break open gender inequality.

We are now searching for a Communications Assistant to work together with our Head of Advocacy and Communications to help with external engagement, increase our share of voice, and build visibility for our mission. This person will execute communications and PR strategies that continue to develop our reputation for thought leadership, increase our media presence, and drive the growth of our social media channels.

Who you are:
A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and who is able to work autonomously
Passionate about gender equality and comfortable openly discussing women’s s*xual health
Able to take complicated, often taboo, topics and turn them into easily understood, engaging, and inspirational content
Skilled at coming up with creative ideas for getting the word out
Knowledgeable about media trends and able to quickly adapt to changes
Exceptionally communicative and organized and able to juggle multiple projects at the same time

What you’ll do:
Execute our communication plans and activities by creating and placing inspirational content in the appropriate channels as well as regularly and actively engaging on social media
Grow our social media presence and coordinate with the team to develop best practices around their individual accounts
Help plan and execute events (virtual and in-person when the situation finally allows)
Help the brands and organizations in our portfolio by providing communications support as needed (this can be anything from running an announcement, to creating simple promotional assets for social media)
Help produce presentations, briefing materials, statements, talking points, and speeches
Be our ears to the ground by attending relevant meetings and events, and report findings back to the team

Must-have qualifications:
Experience developing social media content
Currently completing or have completed a degree in communication (or equivalent work experience in a communications or marketing role)
Fluent in English, written and oral
Graphic design experience is highly valued (we currently use Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva)
Drive to nurture new relationships in our target markets

Desired but not required:
Familiar and comfortable maintaining a WordPress-hosted website
Experience developing press releases and blog posts
An established network of media contacts
Experience working with women’s s*xual health issues
Fluent in Swedish is a perk, but most of our work is in English
Working knowledge of Google Ad Grants and Ad Words

We are an equal opportunity and diverse employer, but please note that we do not sponsor visa applications, and all applicants must be able to live and work in Sweden. We are open to this position being remote within Sweden but prefer someone living in Stockholm.

We can have safer s*x if we know how to have good s*x.

We are so excited that The Pleasure Project’s have launched! 🥳

Pleasure is arguably the main reason people have s*x, and yet has been absent from or s*xual health interventions, despite evidence showing that it is more effective. It prevents more unsafe s*x to talk about , and have honest conversations about what you want from your s*x life.

🌊 There is building! 🌊 We can’t wait for these principles to show us how to become more 🌈

Check out the amazing principles here:

These Pleasure Principles are designed to act as a guide and inspiration to support people and organisations to embark on the journey towards a s*x-positive, pleasure-based approach to s*xual health. The Pleasure Principles aim to help inspire and guide you as a pleasure activist, propagandist or pr...

Tomorrow is and we’d like us all to remember that is an essential component of and fundamental to our overall health and well-being. We know that focusing on adverse outcomes and aspects of s*x can often have the opposite effects from what is intended because people with a positive view of their s*xuality are more likely to engage in safe behaviors.

The Case for Her is taking charge to back female s*xual pleasure for a whole and healthy world with our female s*xual pleasure investment portfolio including The Pleasure Project, AmplifyChange, Unbound, and Youth Development Labs. But we can’t do it alone. We need more funders — from institutions like the World Health Organization (WHO) to individual private investors — join us!

AmplifyChange, supported by The Pleasure Project and in partnership with The Case for Her, is launching a project to introduce pleasure-based approaches to s*xual and reproductive health and rights advocacy in the Global South.
