Yeshin Norbu Meditationscenter

Vi är ett meditionscenter i centrala Stockholm. Vi välkomnar besökare tisdagar till torsdagar kl 13:00 och 17:00.

Yeshin Norbu Meditationscenter hjälper dig träna din hjärna och ditt sinne. Vi ger kurser inom mindfulness och compassion, buddhism och yoga. Vi har också en bokshop och café och vill erbjuda en plats där man kan komma och koppla av från vardagens hets och ha meningsfulla samtal. Vi välkomnar dig till centret och hoppas vi ses på någon av våra kurser, klasser eller events.

Now we are closing for Christmas and will re-open for our first Drop-In Meditation on January 12th.

Most Welcome to join the start of a new run of Discovering Buddhism - a Foundation Course in Buddhist Philosophy. Led by Venerable Thubten Khadro

Starting January 29
18.00 - 20.00

This series of short, practical modules runs for about two years, which gives you an opportunity to dive deep into Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist philosophy and through this gain good foundational understanding of this precious path. It is possible to join the course module by module or the whole series depending on interest and need. There is no need to be Buddhist to join this course — just being curious and have an open heart is a good start.

The first module is called Mind & It's Potential and will start on Thursday January 29th, 6 - 8 pm, and run for five weeks. During this module we examine the mind and how it creates happiness and suffering. We learn to transform destructive thoughts and attitudes to develop a positive and joyous mind.

Welcome to celebrate Lama Tsongkhapa Day and End of Year
with Venerable Khadro, at Yeshin Norbu.

Welcome to Celebrate Lama Tsongkhapa day and End of Year at Yeshin Norbu. The day will start with Guru Puja followed by Pot Luck Christmas Lunch and Light Offerings to the Stupa. Feel free to bring some food to share to the Pot Luck Lunch.

The day starts with Guru Puja at 10 am -12 pm
12 - 14pm Pot Luck lunch
14 - 16pm Light Offerings to the stupa and Christmas activities

Welcome to join an In-Depth Weekend on Breathing with Life with Venerable Gendun in Helsinki

On Friday November 21 Venerable Gendun is holding a public talk on 'Practicing Compassion in a Fragmented World' followed by a weekend meditation retreat on Saturday and Sunday.

The retreat offers a still and supportive space to explore the Ānāpānasati Sutta’s sixteen contemplations — a path that weaves together samatha (calm abiding) and vipassanā (clear seeing), nurturing serenity, insight, and inner freedom.

Following the wonderful concert with guitarist and zen practitioner Finn Loxbo the last month we will on Sunday November 23 welcome the Finnish Swedish dharma practitioner and Marja Athi composer who will present an experimental music piece based on field recordings and a collection of various instruments.

Most Welcome to this humble afternoon of attentive listening! Food and fika will be offered on the day.

Doors open 3pm for food
Concert at 4pm.
