My family's roots are in Dubai, long before the city became a bright skyline. We grew alongside the nation, from the desert to greatness. Though I'm far in Sweden, my heart remains in the UAE with my loved ones.

I reflect on the peace our land provides—a haven where women are safe.

We trust the leadership and defense forces to keep our sanctuary secure.

May God bless our land, its leaders, and its people. 🤲🌙

May the UAE stay a home for everyone. ☺

Someone walks up to you today and says, with total conviction: "Your tongue is bright green."

Do you get angry? Do you feel insulted? Do you spend the rest of the day wondering if they’re right?

𝐎𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭. You’d probably just laugh or look at them with confusion. Why? Because you know for a fact that your tongue isn’t green. There is no "hook" for that comment to grab onto.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧: Criticism only hurts when we secretly believe it might be true.

If someone calls you "lazy" or "unqualified" and it stings, it’s rarely because of their words—it’s because a part of your subconscious agrees with them. The pain isn't coming from the outside; it’s an internal signal that we have a doubt we haven't resolved yet.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲: Next time a comment or a piece of feedback "hooks" you, don't look at the person who said it. Look inward.

What part of me believes this might be true?

How can I resolve that doubt so their "green tongue" comment loses its power?

Mastery isn't about stopping people from criticizing you; it’s about knowing yourself so well that the "hooks" simply fall away.
