To accept things as they are means to let go of your expectations of how things should be. Acceptance isnât indifference. Itâs acknowledging the situation without hiding in denial or reacting to something you canât change.
As for your yoga practice; accept your body, your age, your emotions and your physical limitations.
Also, accept what is going on in the room around you; someone breathing too loud or standing too close.. Acceptance takes practice, so try it out on the smaller things and it will be easier to cope when the bigger challenges come your way.
