Kari Modén Illustration I'm an illustrator based in Stockholm, Sweden. My style has been described as bold, striking, modern yet timeless.

After studying graphic design and illustration at RMI Berghs School of Communication I started off my working career as an Art Directors' assistant whilst studying typography for the renowned Swedish typographer Carl-Fredric Hultenheim. I collaborate with a wide range of clients worldwide. From beauty to medical as well as clients/brands within advertising, design, editorial, packaging and surface patterns. One of the biggest organic brands in Sweden, Saltå Kvarn, commissioned me to illustrate a range of their products which been awarded for its design.

2018 I illustrated supplement packaging on behalf of BVD Design for Swedish Apotek Hjärtat which received a Red Dot award as well as a Pentaward Silver award. The Absolut World design in collaboration with Happy Tear was one of handful of finalist for the LIA - London International Award and is now a nominee for German Design Award 2020.
