This week I have met colleagues who are tired, sad, and overwhelmed by the increased number of meetings, the changes in organizational structure, and the demands on our time. What happened to us during the pandemic? Working from home, not meeting colleagues face-to-face but virtually and often at a more relaxed pace ( You didn't have to get up early enough to commute to the office – just sign on with Zoom, Teams, Adobe, or the platform du jour, and now we are working longer hours than before). What is happening? How do we cope with our new problematic situation? Is it possible to keep calm and thinking clearly? To find contentment and inspiration and to embrace our temporary residence in censorship (denial), and confusion? There are so many who are writing and telling us how to manage, but how are they coping themselves? Write your thoughts in the comments and hypotheses in the comments below.
