Earlier this week, LifeClean proudly announced that we have secured our largest individual order to date, valued at SEK 2.1 million, as part of a multi-phase PFAS remediation project.

The order covers the delivery of our method and chemicals for a phase within a multi-phase PFAS remediation project. Delivery is scheduled for January 2025. It is important to highlight that the order value and the project’s potential total order value of approximately SEK 14 million exclusively reflect revenues from our products, excluding any costs related to manual labor for the remediation work.

Our innovative remediation method effectively addresses a high-priority environmental challenge and is designed to be easy to implement for both customers and partners. This significant project underscores LifeClean’s role in tackling PFAS challenges in a rapidly growing and critical market.

LifeClean Chosen by European Defense Authority for PFAS Decontamination

We are proud to announce that LifeClean International AB, through our distribution network, has been awarded an exclusive contract by a European defense authority for PFAS decontamination. This project includes training personnel in PFAS management and decontamination of fire protection systems, all using the trusted LifeClean method.

All PFAS decontamination will be handled by certified LifeClean personnel, with the initial project phase focused on treating fire vehicles. This work will begin shortly and continue throughout 2025, generating ongoing revenue for each decontamination effort.

The training sessions will take place in the second half of November, providing both practical and theoretical instruction to staff from multiple regions. With all material and training expenses covered by the authority, this contract is valued at approximately 70,000 euros for LifeClean.

“Due to confidentiality, we will share more information following the training. However, it’s already clear that this milestone is a significant step forward and a quality endorsement for LifeClean. Being selected as the sole provider for both training and methodology confirms our quality, robust documentation, and high credibility in the PFAS field,” says Ragnar Krefting, Founder and Board Member of LifeClean International AB.

In a recent interview with Fastighetsnytt, Ragnar Krefting and Ayda Zamany from LifeClean discussed the company's cutting-edge methods for PFAS decontamination in industrial fire suppression systems. Despite major strides, regulatory hurdles in Sweden slow down adoption compared to other countries, like Norway, where approvals are faster.

"It's like setting a speed limit of 90 when everyone’s already going 200. We need clearer requirements and enforceable incentives to prompt industry action," says Ragnar Krefting, LifeClean’s founder.

LifeClean's patented methods, proven with companies such as Volvo Cars and Saab Bofors, are effectively reducing PFAS contamination levels below EU thresholds. However, clearer regulations and guidelines are crucial to fully tackle PFAS’s environmental and health risks.

LifeClean has entered into a strategic partnership with Fire Marshalls regarding biofilm control and PFAS remediation in the Qatari market. The agreement gives Fire Marshall exclusive rights for a five-year period. The exclusivity is activated upon initial order and within 45 days the exclusivity right must be paid with 950,000 Euros to LifeClean.

Fire Marshalls offers a comprehensive range of fire protection solutions for the Qatari market, including the installation and servicing of fire protection systems, with particular expertise and existing customer agreements in the oil and gas industry.

PFAS and biofilm management are critical in high-value sectors, including in the energy sector. By leveraging LifeClean's advanced sanitation technologies, Fire Marshalls will now offer their customers sustainable and effective solutions to tackle these global issues.

"The partnership with Fire Marshalls in Qatar is our first overseas collaboration in biofilm/PFAS remediation. LifeClean's High-level solutions are designed to help you navigate critical challenges faced in the livestock and healthcare industries, including during disease outbreaks and other elevated risk situations.

Pandemics, epidemics, and outbreaks are becoming increasingly common. Over the past decades, global human disease outbreaks have tripled, with disease richness and diversity on the rise. With less than 0.1% of the potential risks of zoonotic viruses (those capable of jumping from animals to humans) being known, a vast unknown underscores the critical need for preparedness.

While many are eager to put COVID-19 behind us, the threat of another severe pandemic is more than just a possibility – it’s a constant reality. Experts estimate a 2% to 4% chance of an extreme pandemic occurring each year. Human-microbe interactions aren't new, but modern trends like climate change, urbanization, globalization, and deforestation are accelerating the conditions for outbreaks, emphasizing the necessity for strict biosecurity and effective infection control.

So, where does that leave us? We know outbreaks are becoming more frequent and intense, driven by an expanding range of microbial agents. Whether the next outbreak is caused by a novel pathogen, a mutated strain, or shifts in epidemiology, LifeClean is the future-proof disinfectant you can rely on to meet these challenges head-on.

Our disinfectant solutions offer protection against all major types of pathogenic microorganisms, including those resistant to standard chemical disinfectants. Switching to LifeClean and adopting rigorous biosecurity measures can make a real difference.

Our team of experts is here to help you refine your cleaning and disinfection processes while moving toward a more sustainable business model. If you're facing an outbreak or simply want to strengthen your infection control measures, don't hesitate to contact us; we’re ready to assist you.

LifeClean’s report for Q2 highlighted by Redeye analysts

Today LifeClean has published the quarterly report for the second quarter of 2024, for April to June.

Fredrik Tumegård, CEO of LifeClean International, comments the past quarter in the report: “In the second quarter of 2024, LifeClean International has made progress. Turnover increased to SEK 20.9 million, an increase of 46 percent compared to the same period last year. Although we are still in the early stages, it feels positive that we can deliver according to our strategy”.

The full report is available on our website (in Swedish): https://lnkd.in/dHWFrfGr

An article by Mats Hyttinge, Senior Equity Analyst at Redeye AB, commenting on the report can be found on Redeye’s website:
“Redeye saw sales that were markedly above and results that were in line with our expectations. The stronger sales and a better outlook with more orders in the pipeline make for a more positive stance. With the initial view we expect to raise our Base case by 15-20%”.

Redeye has also published an article commenting on the positive news about the order LifeClean has received from SAAB Bofors regarding PFAS remediation for one of the company’s production facilities.

“The order from SAAB Bofors on the patented PFAS sanitation method is clearly a positive step forward in Lifeclean’s up-and-coming business area. The order value is not communicated; however, the signal value is excellent.”

SAAB Bofors chooses LifeClean's patented solution for PFAS remediation

LifeClean has received an order from SAAB Bofors regarding PFAS remediation of one of the company's production facilities. Sustainability issues have long been high on the agenda for SAAB Bofors and green issues have long been a priority.

LifeClean's product range in PFAS remediation includes specially developed chemicals, central to the company's recently developed and patent-pending method for effective PFAS removal. The cleanup will be carried out in collaboration with our partner BST Group.

Fredrik Tumegård, CEO of LifeClean, comments: "During the past year, we have processed a large number of industrial companies via our dealers, which is now beginning to bear fruit. We are very proud that such a reputable company as SAAB Bofors, after evaluating various methods, has given LifeClean the trust to clean one of the company's production facilities from PFAS,".

Concerned about the recent developments with Mpox (formerly known as monkeypox)? Here's what you need to know:

The reemergence of the Mpox clade I variant has sparked global health alerts, with cases now spreading beyond Africa. Just recently, Sweden reported the first clade I case outside the continent, underscoring the urgency of global preparedness.

At LifeClean, we understand the gravity of emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) and their impact on public health. With 60% of human infectious diseases having zoonotic origins, the need for proactive measures is more critical than ever. Factors like climate change and increased global connectivity continue to facilitate the emergence of new pathogens, emphasizing the importance of swift and effective response strategies.

Mpox clade I presents unique challenges compared to clade II, with higher risks of severe illness and differing transmission patterns. Our commitment to your safety remains steadfast. That's why we recommend using proven disinfectants like LifeClean, which has been rigorously tested and shown effective against not only enveloped viruses like the Monkeypox virus (MPXV) but also specifically against common surrogate viruses like Vaccinia virus.

Despite its resilience, MPXV is no match for LifeClean's powerful formulation, validated to meet the highest European standards for virucidal efficacy under its most challenging test conditions. Whether it's Mpox or future threats, LifeClean is here to provide peace of mind with superior protection.

Let's stay vigilant and prepared together. Your health and safety are our priority. Stay informed, stay protected. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if we can support in any way!
