Just finished three days of Swedish kidney meeting in Uppsala, for doctors, nurses technicians, dietitians physiotherapist and social workers.
All and all an intense and diversified program covering many interesting topics with a focus of self managed dialysis (PD, HHD,SCHD) with patient centered care.
Also covering new home HD machines coming to the market , just using 5 liters of water per session and how to use pulmonary ultrasound for a more exact determination of dry-weight seems to be a great improvement of care .

We also got a very intense report from how to handle patients and center in war time (Ukraine).

Today was the opening of the 61 ERA Congress in Stockholm . An exiting event inaugurated by the Swedish Prince Daniel . During the meeting three major investigations will be presented, one of them the flow study . The exhibition area is as well full of both well established renal companies as new ones from many parts of the world .
